AGE & SOURCE CATTLE

If you have purchased EID buttons for your calves, please fill out your Micro PVP Age Verification Audit Request Form and return it to our office as soon as possible. Also, if you have any buttons that you have not applied to your calves, please return them along with your Audit Request. We will issue you either a credit or refund. If you need help filling out you Audit Request Form, please feel free to call our office at 831-726-3303.

· It is important to note that when buttons are issued to you, they are issued for a particular calving season, ie: fall calves, spring calves. If you purchased buttons for your fall calves, any leftover buttons cannot be used on your spring calves or for any other calving season. If you have questions with regards to Age & Source please call our office.

· An Audit Request Form must be filled out every year or for each calving season should you have more than one

Please make sure to get your Micro Beef Age Verification Audit Request Form into us as soon as possible. It is a time consuming process for 101 Livestock to get all the paperwork done prior to you shipping your cattle, but the benefits of the added profit to you, our customer, makes it all worth while!!

Recommended Vaccination Programs to go with Electronic ID tags

Program 1 If you are only working your cattle once:
8-way
4-way Modified Live Virus
Lepto
Pasturella (modified live)

Program 2           If you are able to work your calves twice with a booster:
8-way    boosted according to label
4-way    boosted according to label – does not have to be modified live
Lepto
Pasturella (modified live)

Program 3 Same as Program 2 with the addition of a 45 day wean or 21 days with nasal device.

Note: Do not vaccinate just prior to shipping, BOOST AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO SHIPPING.

Follow label instructions.

You must use a modified live 4-way & modified live Pasturella along with an 8-way shot and lepto for Program !.
Recommendations:
    4-way:
        Bovishield Gold 5L5 with lepto   or
            Vista Once with Pasturella – Vista Once is new and comes highly recommended. It contains 2 strains of Pasturella
and only needs to be boosted annually, because Vista Once doesn’t come with lepto, you will need to give a lepto shot.

                    8-way
                                        One Shot Ultra 8 with Pasturella (modified live) use this if giving the Bovishield Gold 5L5 as your 4-way; you will need the Pasturella OR
                                        Ultra Bac 8 (killed) use this if using the Vista Once as your 4-way.
